Frequently Asked Questions

Our vans are rated 15 passenger by Ford and Chevy. This means 14 passengers + the driver, per van.

Our goal is to make you as comfortable as possible so we usually do not seat more than 10 passengers on a 14 passenger van, which allows lots of room for each guest.

As much as we’d love to stop for photo opportunities, we’re on a strict timeline and other guests are expecting to see everything we advertise. There are multiple opportunities to take great pictures from inside the van.

If you know that you’re going to want to stop frequently to take photos then our regular city tour is not for you. We’d recommend that you select one of our private tour/transportation options if your focus is photography. On one of our private tours, you can stop and take as many pictures as you want, it’s your tour!

Unfortunately we are on a strict timeline in order to show you all of the sights and are unable to allow frequent stops.

We usually get out of the van at one of our cemeteries to allow you a closer look.  Our city tour is designed to give you an overview of the city of New Orleans. Our city tour allows our guests to sit back and enjoy what our local licensed tour guides have created for you.

If you know that you’re going to want to stop so you can get out and walk around, our regular city tour is not for you. We’d recommend that you select one of our private tour/transportation options if your goal is to get out of the van to explore. On one of our private tours, you can stop and walk around whenever you want, it’s your tour!

If you’re the only person who books one of our tours then we’d be happy to give you a tour. Our city tour has no minimum to run.

Absolutely! We love giving tours in the rain.

Absolutely. It would be against the law for us to not provide air-conditioning.

If you are staying in a downtown New Orleans, French Quarter, Central Business District or an Arts and Warehouse District hotel we’ll pick you up right in front of your hotel.

This is where we offer a little lagniappe. Lagniappe means a little something extra in French. If you want to go back to your hotel, that’s no problem. But, if you’d like to be dropped off somewhere in the French Quarter, tell us where you wanna go!

No problem! If you have a car we can pick you up at 501 Basin Street, Tourist Information Center. They have a huge parking lot and they charge on average $5 to $10 for 8 hours. If you decide to get picked up here just make sure you get on a white van that says Celebration Tours on the side. If you’d prefer to catch a cab or Uber to get to the downtown area, I’d recommend getting dropped off at the Royal Sonesta Hotel on Bourbon Street. This is a perfect location to pick you up! Just be sure to let us know that’s where you’ll be waiting for us to pick you up.

We will give you a 30 minute pickup window. However, if you call to confirm your tour the day before then we can give you a more specific time.

The only pets we allow on our tour are service animals. We will not allow other pets on board due to other guest/driver allergies.

Our tour vehicles do not provide a lift. If you have special needs, please call us. We would be more than happy to recommend another tour company for you if we are not able to meet your needs. For the most part, we are usually able to accommodate anyone with special needs. So please call us!

We literally give tours every day of the year except for the 2 weekends before Mardi Gras we don’t run our afternoon tour, Mardi Gras day we don’t operate at all and of course we won’t be operating if the city has a mandatory evacuation due to a hurricane.

If you’d like to take a private tour in the afternoon during the 2 weekends before Mardi Gras or a private tour on Mardi Gras day we’d be more than happy to provide you with a tour/transportation. It is important that you understand there will be some limitations in the city during this time.
